Abstract

The notches in motion-picture film cartridges for 8 mm sound and silent film, whose dimensions and positions are specified, serve tp present the exposure devices automatically with respect to the film speed and colour-balancing filter. The dimensions and positions of the cartridge notches intended for film identification in the cartridge are also given.
