About

Scope

All standardization activities in the field of polymer matrix composites and reinforcement fibres, including intermediate forms of material, production methods, the interface between fibre and matrix, composite to metal assemblies, natural reinforcement fibres, recycled reinforcement fibres and their composites and products, test methods, terminology, specifications, and definitions relating thereto.

Excluded: Metal and ceramics matrix composites; Concrete is covered within the scope of ISO/TC 71; Reinforcing fibres not used for polymer matrix composites such as boron fibres;

Note 1: SC13 is one of the sub‐committees under ISO/TC61. The extent and limitation for the products involved is given by the scope for ISO/TC 61.
